It’s the birthday of the late President Ferdinand Marcos. Out here, the late dictator is well-loved. Hundreds in red shirts emblazoned with the face of Imelda Marcos with the acronym FIRM (to stand for Friends of Imelda R. Marcos) came in droves. Thousands others came.
